The appearance of the first pilot in early 1996 redefined the handheld computer.
Since then, a diverse family of devices powered by the Palm Operating System ("PalmOS") has evolved.

Having been fascinated by "Palms" for many years, I've created this historical reference site with:

	an Evolutionary Tree that graphically shows this development; and
	a chronology of significant events, or Milestones; and
	a few other things...
