| With
most web browsers, you can hover your mouse pointer over each device image
to get its model name. Click the manufacturer's logo to open a new window
to their product webpages. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| When
different international versions of a device exist, the North American model
name is used. |

All
existing PalmOS devices are not shown in an attempt to keep this
chart legible. For example, XPRO and hagenuk are selling rebranded versions
of GSPDA smartphones in the China and Germany marketplace (respectively);
IBM sold rebranded versions of various Palm devices under the WorkPad
brand from 1997-2002, plus there have been various special editions produced
for specialized markets or marketing purposes (e.g. Franklin Covey, epocrates,
Supra, Claudia Schiffer, etc.). |

| In
several instances, a pair of very similar devices were released (e.g. Treo
180 (with keyboard) & 180g (with Graffiti) or Clie NR-70V
(with camera) & NR-70 (without). This is represented on
the "tree" by one image, but with multiples branch-lines. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Most
of the device images are not to scale (particularly noticable for the Kyocera
and Samsung smartphones, the AlphaSmart dana, and the Clie NR/NX/NZ).

| PalmSource
maintains pages showing
current handhelds and smartphones by all licensees on their website. Basic
specifications and links to the manufacturer's product pages can be found
there. |
